If only we were so lucky... What I want to know is why everything important has to happen on W's watch. I wish the universe would leave some disaster or major confluence ocurr on somebody else's watch, just so that we could have a chance of not seeing it worsen.

There's a post on A Night Light that reports that Bush will be investigating himself. There appear to be many questions that Bush has, according to this post:

"Bush swore to conduct an aggressive investigation. 'The question,' said the President, 'Is "What did I know and when did I know it?"' He vowed not to rest until he has all the answers. 'For example,' said Bush, 'there's a picture of me playing guitar while people are drowning. But I read in the New York Times that I don't even play guitar. I want answers, and I want them now. Or,' he added, 'if not now, then certainly in ample time.'"

(Just had to quote that bit...)
